O veterano escritor Paul Levitz está se sentindo em casa ao escrever o título mensal World’s Finest. Lidando com as personagens Caçadora de Poderosa, oriundas da Terra 2 assim como no Universo DC pré-Crise nas Infinitas Terras, o autor prepara um crossover das duas personagens com Superman em Batman no começo do ano que vem.
Greg Pak, escritor de Batman/Superman, auxiliará Levitz na história, já que o objetivo dela é começar a fabricar laços entre estas versões diferentes de personagens que (acham) que se conhecem.
O crossover de dois meses começa em Janeiro na 19ª edição do título, cuja sinopse diz: “Tempos desesperados requerem medidas desesperadas. Isso obrigará a Poderosa e a Caçadora a revelarem suas verdadeiras origens para Superman e Batman.“.
