A DC Comics divulgou as primeiras imagens de Ethan Cobblepot, o filho do Pinguim que estreará nos quadrinhos na série mensal da Batgirl, em 25 de janeiro. Veja abaixo:
Na HQ, Ethan dirige a VicForm, uma nova startup de tecnologia que surge para "melhorar as comunidades locais via tecnologia" em Burnside, o bairro hipster de Gotham City onde as histórias de Batgirl se passam.
O desenhista Christian Wildgoose, conhecido hoje por Gotham Academy, vai trabalhar ao lado da roteirista Hope Larson a partir de Batgirl #7. Ele assume a arte da série depois da saída do brasileiro Rafael Albuquerque, responsável pelo primeiro arco dentro da reformulação Rebirth.
A história intitulada "Son of Penguin" marca a volta de Barbara a Burnside, depois de viajar por Japão e Cingapura nas seis edições desenhadas por Albuquerque.
