Diretamente da New York Comic Con, a DC Comics anunciou que está trabalhando em uma nova one-shot em quadrinhos da franquia do Lanterna Verde, intitulada Green Lantern: Fractured Spectrum #1.

O roteiro ficará sob responsabilidade de Jeremy Adams, enquanto V Ken Marion cuidará da arte.

De acordo com a editora, essa edição especial apresentará um novo tipo de Lanterna no Universo DC, conhecidos como "Lanterns Fractais".

Aparentemente, são um resultado direto da manipulação de Thaaros no Espectro Emocional.

"Após os acontecimentos de Civil Corps, uma nova era na mitologia de Lanterna Verde começa! Mais uma vez, Oa se tornou o epicentro da Tropa dos Lanternas Verdes, trazendo justiça aos cantos mais distantes da galáxia. Mas, uma nova ameaça surgiu: seres que manifestam partes descontroladas do Espectro Emocional apareceram aleatoriamente em todo o universo, conhecidos como Lanterns Fractais" diz a descrição.

"Hal e uma Tropa reformada partem para policiar esse estranho fenômeno enquanto descobrem um plano sinistro que poderia eliminar a própria essência da vida inteligente," conclui.

O lançamento acontecerá em 8 de janeiro de 2025 nos Estados Unidos.
