Assim como nas edições do Batman e do Coringa, “Superman: O Mundo” reúne  quadrinistas de diferentes países para criar histórias exclusivas  sobre o personagem homenageado. Na trama, o manto vermelho dos indígenas Tupinambá desaparece misteriosamente e o Superman entra em ação para recuperá-lo, descobrindo o profundo valor que uma capa pode ter para um povo.
