Aves de Rapina contra o Esquadrão Suicida

 

Em sua mais recente versão, as Aves de Rapina da DC Comics operam às margens da lei, cruzando alguns limites que outros heróis não teriam coragem. Mas agora, não apenas por isso, mas também para corrigir erros passados da Canário Negro, o grupo entrará em rota de colisão com o Esquadrão Suicida.

 

Esta nova história que dará detalhes da ligação entre a Canário com Amanda Waller começa na edição #31 da série Birds of Prey, escrita por Christy Marx e que também explorará as atitudes do mais novo membro do grupo, Condor, e seu pacto com Ra`s Al Ghul, além do passado de Mother Eve.

A tentativa da DC Comics de pegar carona no movimento Occupy com sua série de super-heróis The Movement teve o óbvio fim de qualquer tentativa de uma grande empresa de mídia de tentar pegar carona no sucesso de grupos anti-corporações: o cancelamento.

 

A edição 12 da série escrita por Gail Simone será a última da série, que nunca encontrou seu público e lutou contra baixas vendas desde sua primeira edição, assim como seu título irmão, Green Team, que foi cancelado em janeiro com apenas oito edições.
