Mais uma revista da DC Comics se junta à lista das que precisarão uma nova equipe criativa, pois o escritor Judd Winick anunciou que deixará o título Batwing.
Ao lado da série mensal da Mulher-Gato, que ele já havia deixado, Winick vinha escrevendo as histórias do personagem desde o início da reformulação da editora. Ainda não se sabe quem o substituirá.
Os motivos alegados foram projetos pessoais que o escritor está desenvolvendo e que o impossibilitam de assumir o compromisso de um título regular. "Minha saída é uma simples questão de tempo. É com peso no coração que confirmo isso, tive ótimos momentos na revista e adorei criar essas aventuras ao lado de pessoas fenomenais. Sentirei saudades dos contos de David Zavimbe, o Batman da África, mas tenho orgulho do trabalho que fizemos", declarou ao site Newsarama.
Outros títulos da DC que aguardam confirmação sobre suas equipes criativas são Action Comics, Aquaman, Gavião Negro, Exterminador e Bandoleiro.

"The Rise of the Third Army" continues in Green Lantern #14 on Nov. 7, from writer Geoff Johns and artists Doug Mahnke and Christian Alamy. In the issue, with Hal Jordan missing, the Justice League, decides to go after the new Green Lantern to demand answers about their absent team member.
"We're going to be meeting a brand new Green Lantern in issue #0, and unlike his predecessors, he's not the sort of guy you'd be expecting to wear the ring. That's putting it mildly," said editor Matt Idelson. “After the events of Green Lantern Annual #1, Hal Jordan is MIA in a very big way, and our new Green Lantern finds himself in a new role, though his troubled life isn't going to go away in the slightest. In fact it's the things he's notorious for that in large part bring the Justice League into the picture -- they want to know what's happened to Hal, and what this guy thinks he's doing filling the role of Green Lantern. It's going to be intense, but also very, very cool."
