Batman Incorporated | DC vai cancelar série após saída de Grant Morrison

Despedida do roteirista é fim da trama "Corporação Batman"

"Batman salva o mundo e perde tudo que tem". É o que diz a descrição de Batman Incorporated #13, que a DC Comics confirmou nos previews de julho que será a última edição da série - e também a despedida de Grant Morrison das Bat-revistas após sete anos.
O roteirista escocês anunciou em meados do ano passado que estava encerrando sua passagem pelo Bat-universo. Em 2006, ele assumiu a série principal do homem-morcego, introduziu Damian Wayne, matou Bruce Wayne, transformou Damian em Robin e, para sua última trama, imaginou Batman criando uma corporação internacional de super-heróis para enfrentar o crime organizado.
Desde então, nos dois volumes da série Batman Incorporated, Morrison tem feito histórias levemente deslocadas da continuidade do restante do Bat-universo. E parece que vai levar consigo os brinquedinhos que criou: matou Damian Wayne e, aparentemente, vai encerrar Incorporated com o desmantelamento da Corporação Batman.
Batman Incorporated #13 sai em julho com a capa oficial do desenhista Chris Burnham em efeito Droste e uma capa alternativa desenhada pelo próprio Morrison.

A próxima aventura de Tom Strong será publicada no selo Vertigo, da DC Comics.
Tom Strong and the Planet of Peril terá enredo de Peter Hogan e arte de Chris Sprouse. Alan Moore, que possui muitas divergências com a editora, não está envolvido com a série. Originalmente, Tom Strong foi publicado no selo ABC, da Wildstorm.
Hogan escreveu três histórias de Tom Strong, entre 2004 e 2006, e é o autor da minissérie de seis partes Tom Strong and the Robots of Doom, publicada em 2010.
Em Tom Strong and the Planet of Peril, o herói perdeu seus poderes e viajará para a Terra Obscura - uma versão alternativa da Terra que já foi alvo de duas minisséries, com texto de Alan Moore e Peter Hogan e arte de Yanick Paquette -, junto com Val Var Garm, para salvar a vida de Tesla.
O título será distribuído em 31 de julho.
