O Flash de Jay Garrick deve fazer parte do arco Flash Wars. O desenhista Howard Porter divulgou um GIF no twitter onde mostra o Velocista Escarlate original preso na Força da Velocidade.
“Pobre Jay!”, escreveu.
Jay Garrick não é visto no Universo DC desde o crossover entre o Flash e o Batman, “The Button”, onde ele se soltou da Força da Velocidade e tentou usar Barry Allen como uma estrada de luz da mesma maneira que Wally West fez para retornar no especial Renascimento. Contudo, o plano não deu certo e ele desapareceu.
Flash Wars tem sido anunciada algum tempo pela DC Comics, mas o argumento deve se desenvolver em The Flash #47, que está programada para maio.
