Ram V escreverá os Novos Deuses em nova série da DC

 

Os Novos Deuses, criação de Jack Kirby para a DC, ganharão um novo olhar pelo aclamado roteirista Ram V. O autor de “As Muitas Mortes de Laila Starr” (Devir) será o responsável por escrever a primeira série contínua dos Novos Deuses em trinta anos, que fará parte da nova iniciativa da DC, a All In. O anúncio foi feito durante o painel da DC dedicado aos quadrinhos, na San Diego Comic-Con.

A HQ será desenhada por Evan Cagle, parceiro de Ram V na série “Dawnrunner” da Dark Horse, e não fará parte da linha Absolute. Ou seja, a série não irá reinventar os personagens do Quarto Mundo.

O roteirista explica que os eventos envolvendo Darkseid que acontecem na revista “All In Special”, prevista para outubro, e que são o ponto de partida para a criação do universo Absolute, causarão um desequilíbrio cósmico entre Apokolips e Nova Gênesis, afinal envolvem Darkseid. Ram V ainda revelou que a paternidade será um tema chave da série, o que pode ser um sinal de conexão da história com o “Senhor Milagre” de Tom King.

Na imagem de divulgação do quadrinho, assinada por Pete Woods, é possível ver Senhor Milagre, Grande Barda, Órion, Pai Celestial, Lightray e Metron como parte dos personagens da revista, com previsão de lançamento para 18-12-24.

THE QUESTION: ALL ALONG THE WATCHTOWER #1

Renee Montoya, a popular detetive de Gotham, está assumindo o manto do Questão na nova série dos quadrinhos anunciada pela DC.

Intitulada de The Question: All Along the Watchwover, Alex Segura (The Brave and the Bold), levará a personagem para uma série de investigações diretamente da Torre de Vigilância da Liga da Justiça.

A trama envolverá assassinatos misteriosos na base da equipe de super-heróis, e Batman, desconfiado de seus companheiros, contratará Renee Montoya para investigar os crimes.

"Quem vigia a Torre de Vigilância? Na esteira de Absolute Power, a Liga da Justiça criou um refúgio para todos os heróis - mas eles podem mantê-los seguros? Recuperando-se de seu tempo em Gotham, surge Renee. Mas a Trindade não a chamou para a Torre para relaxar - há uma ameaça sombria borbulhando sob a superfície, e apenas a Questão e sua equipe de suporte têm chance de descobrir quem é o problema antes que seja tarde demais", diz uma descrição da série.

Uma data para a publicação de The Question: All Along the Watchwover #1 foi anunciada para 20-11-2024.

BLACK CANARY:BEST OF THE BEST #1

A DC anunciou Black Canary: Best of the Best, uma nova minissérie em quadrinhos da Canário Negro, escrita por Tom King.

A minissérie em quadrinhos terá seis edições, e colocará a Canário Negro contra a vilã Lady Shiva.

Aliada do Arqueiro Verde, Canário Negro é uma personagem subvalorizada no Universo DC.

Embora ela exista nos quadrinhos desde os anos 40, este será apenas o seu quinto título solo na DC.

Indestructibles: The First Fracture #1

 

In 2020Bleeding Cool reported that suspense and thriller novelist Ridley Pearson was writing a new original graphic novel trilogy, The Indestructibles, drawn by Berat Pekmezci, coming from DC Comics in August next year. That middle-grade graphic novel will follow a 12-year-old boy who manifests an inexplicable power after entering a wildfire on a heroic mission; alongside new friends with similar afflictions, they seek to uncover the truth and save their hometown. The first of those volumes, Indestructibles: The First Fracture, was brought forward to publication on the 9th of March 2021. Then delayed to the 3rd of August 2021. And then nothing… until now. And it has been rescheduled to the 28th of February 2025, four years later…
